Independence Day Celebration

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is the national day of the United States. Similar to other families, our family celebrate Indepence Day by hosting or attending a picnic or barbecue or gather with relatives. Decorations such as balloons and clothing are generally colored red, white, and blue, the colors of the American flag. Parades are often in the morning, while fireworks displays occur in the evening at places like parks, fairgrounds, or town squares.

This year's celebration was a little bit different from the previous. My parents got fired not very long ago due to the deep economic recession. So we have been trying to cut our expenditure for several months. As a result, we can't spend a lot of money on the celebration. However, this is the most exciting celebration I've ever had.I joined the parade with my parents waving flags, saying "happy birthday America", and showing the silicone wristbands with pictures of the American flag and the white house on them. We bought them, a website selling various kinds of silicone wristbands which are of good quality and with moderate price. I used to like imprinted silicone wristband most, but when the new item full color silicone wristband came out, I was so excited to find that any full color picture can be printed on white silicone wristbands. One of my friend who is a fan of Federer printed Federer's photos on the wristbands when he went to men's single final. They are quite popular among us.

Later that day, we went to see the fireworks displays. They were so gorgeous, but we couldn't keep them for long. The wristbands we weared that day have been put in the drawer as a memento.
